He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Grikas and James Grikas; his wife Rita Grikas (Dionne); and his siblings, Agnes Robinson, Bernice Piwowarski and Andrew Grikas.
He is survived by: his children, Jim (Mary Grikas) of Calabasas, California, Nancy (Dan Eckerson) of Durham and John Grikas of Glastonbury, Connecticut; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Tyler, Sara (Alberto), Jacob, Joshua, Christian and Michael. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
