He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Cathcart and Pauline Cathcart (Laney); and his brother Hubert R. Cathcart (Janis Cathcart). He is survived by: his significant other Cheryl Hey; his significant other's son Timothy (Elizabeth); his son Jeffery Cathcart (Keri); his grandchildren, Chelsea and McKenzie; his sisters, Margaret Whitney and Charon (Randy Dumont); and also, Warner, Oliver and Elizabeth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lee Hill Cemetery.

He was a true friend-a gentlemen with a kind heart- The summers by the pool - working together and the fishing trips give us great memories to remember him by. So thankful for the friendship, especially the last few years spending an afternoon time enjoying conversation over lunch, a beer or just a cup of tea. We were blessed having him in our life and he will be forever in our hearts. Don and Denise”
