He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Young and Florence Young (Sias); and his siblings, Kenneth, Sherman, Kathleen, Joyce, Bette, Lorna and Harold.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Young of Dunbarton; and his children, Karen Cookson (Duane) of Bow, Michael Young (Rhea) of Mesa, AZ, Kevin Young (Guylaine) of Ormond Beach, FL, Brenda Young of Salisbury, NC and Scott Young (Lisa) of Manchester. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
