She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William H. Glidden and Beatrice May Glidden (Bolton); her husband Richard E. Scarponi of Barrington; her children, Sharon (William Alex), Michael Scarponi of Rochester, Paul Scarponi of Saco, ME and Stephen (Roxanne Scarponi); her sister Winifred DelPonte of Dover; and her grandchildren, Philip (Krystal Alex), Lauren (Drew Gore), Anna, Virginia, Jake, Amelia, Caitlin and Paul Scott. She was also cherished by six great grandchildren.
