He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Goldberg and Esther Wool Goldberg. He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth Cotter-Goldberg; his siblings, Frances Blumenfeld and Marshall (Tannley Goldberg); his sister-in-law Helen (John Leddy); his nephew Barak Pearlmutter; and his nieces, Nili Pearlmutter, Holly Leddy, Bridget Fletcher and Norene Leddy.
