He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Callaghan and Mary Callaghan (Mullen); his wife Mary Callaghan (Hanratty); his siblings, Mary Dubois (Arthur Dubois), Leo (Callaghan) and Joseph; his sister-in-law Bernice Callaghan (Marshall); and his grandson Christopher Bamford.
He is survived by: his brother Joe; his children, Mary Callaghan Bamford (Paul) of Stratham, NH, Patrick Callaghan of Dover, DE, Cathy Callaghan of Dover, NH and Owen Callaghan, Jr. (Jessica) of Arlington, MA; his grandson Michael Bamford (Joanna) of Tarreytown, NY; his children, Spencer, Megan, Quinn Callaghan of Arlington, MA, Shawn and Abbey Callaghan of Delaware; and his great grandchildren, Maeve, Callan Bamford, Teagan Callaghan and Malliyah Kemp.
