Lana E. Black Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lana E. Black of Dover, New Hampshire, born in Rochester, New Hampshire, who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lionel "Red" and Gladys "Mickey" Harris (Reed); her daughters, Julia Mae Harris of Farmington, NH and Joanne Black; her stepdaughter Nancy Sanborn (Alvin) of West Baldwin, ME; her grandchildren, Donald Farrington Jr., Tim Sanborn (Lisa) of Sebago Lake, ME, Jessica Neumann of Barrington, NH, Teresa LaBrecque (Jim) of Rochester, MA and Jane Woodward of Nottingham, NH; her nephews, Tony Harris (Eva) of Hoquiam, WA and Derek Harris (Robyn) of Olympia, WA; her husband Philip N Black; her brother Lance Harris; her stepdaughter Doris Neumann; and also Edward Koza. She was also cherished by several great grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday January 16, 2021 at 1 PM at First Parish Church in Dover, NH, for close family and friends, following social distancing precautions.
In lieu of flowers, Lana has requested that donations be made to Community Youth Services (CYS) in Olympia, WA, a great organization that is near and dear to her late brother Lance's family.
