We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2022, at the age of 88, Joan Y. Rice of Dover, New Hampshire, born in Auburn, Maine passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Y. Rice to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Higgins and Kathryn "Kay" Higgins; and her brother Larry Higgins. She is survived by: her husband Harold K. Rice, Jr.; and her children, John Rice (Deborah), Mary Agnew (Arthur), Stephen Rice (Mary Beth), Peter Rice (Mary Ann), Julie Beeson (Clifford), Kathleen Rice, Brooke Bennett (James) and Patrick Rice (Erica). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and counting; and a host of extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Joan's honor.
