With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Mabel Cheney of Dover, New Hampshire, who passed away on May 30, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Hayes and Beatrice Hayes (White); her husband Robert A. Cheney; and her son Robert A. Cheney Jr. Joan. She is survived by: her grandsons, Johnathan R. Cheney of Dover and Dylan R. Cheney of South Berwick; and her siblings, John Hayes (Ann) of York, Janet Shorey (Richard) of Lebanon and Judy McMullen (Patrick) of Barrington.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
