He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Doherty and Sarah Doherty (Simpson); his wife June Walker Doherty; his children, Janet Doherty Richards (Phillip Richards) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Stephen Doherty of Dover, NH and Lawrence Doherty of Norwood, MA; and his grandchildren, Jessie Richards, Sarah Doherty, Shawn Doherty, Kelsie and Jack Doherty.
