He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl F. Jacobs and Eunice E. Jacobs (Smith); his daughter Patricia "Sissy" Shama; and his sisters, Barbara Barker and Carlene Colwell.
He is survived by: his wife Joylene; his stepchildren, Jesse Montgomery, Mathew Montgomery, Shawn Dawkins and Sheila Johnson; his niece Karen Barker Ferguson; his nephew Christopher Colwell; his parents-in-law, Robert, Dale Jolivet, Pauline and Daniel Burlington; and also Jeremy.
