Elizabeth Borgo Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Borgo of Dover, New Hampshire, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Elizabeth departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Elizabeth. Though Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary "Daisy" Copsey Burch and Armistead Copsey; and her brothers, John "Rhodie" Copsey and Philip Copsey. She is survived by: her children, John Borgo of Manchester and Marianne Borgo-Ledue (Eugene Ledue) of South Portland, Maine.; and her grandsons, David Cochrane of South Portland, Patrick Cochrane of Brooklyn and Daniel Cochrane (Alison Cochrane) of Newton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anne Rehabilitation and Nursing Center or Catholic Charities of New Hampshire, Dover, New Hampshire.

“Sorry to hear about Cecelia passing, sending condolences to her family! Cecelia had a big heart and would help you if she could. I will never forget when I had my son, she reached out to see what I needed, and she got me a play pen. I did see her in MA when I was passing through several+ years ago on vacation.
