It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Riordan (Dover, New Hampshire), born in Manchester, New Hampshire, who passed away on July 8, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Downs and Myrtle Downs (Reed); her husband George P. Riordan; her sons, James G. Riordan and George W. Riordan; and her brother David Downs.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Riordan, John Riordan (Carleen), Barry Riordan (Diane), Marty Riordan (Patty), Kathleen Blinn (Roger) and Linda Riordan Lamothe (Scott). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren; her sister Mary McKelvey; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to the Parish of the Assumption, 150 Central Ave, Dover, NH or The Seacoast Cancer Center, 789 Central Ave, Dover, NH.
