She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Chamberlin, Sr. and Edna Lank; her former husband Charles "Jack" Twombly; her husband William Dewhirst, Sr.; and her siblings, Don Chamberlin, Jr., Theodore Chamberlin and Louise McAllister.

She is survived by: her sister Janice Major of Scarborough, ME; her children, Andrea Boulanger (David Boulanger) of Hinesburg, VT, William Dewhirst (Patricia Dewhirst) of Hanover, NH and Robert Dewhirst of Weare, NH; and her grandchildren, Matthew Boulanger (Kate Nugent) of South Burlington, VT, Nicole Dyhrman (Hans Dyhrman) of Williston, VT, Regan Dewhirst of Waterbury Center, VT and Madison Dewhirst of Pittsburgh, PA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the Dover Children's Home or a charity of one's own choice.
