It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Ellen Vanderpool (Dover, New Hampshire), born in Maynard, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 9, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hensel and Mary Hensel (Dickey); her children, Lorraine Martel and Douglas Vanderpool; and her sister-in-law Monica Hensel.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas W. Vanderpool; her children, Lawrence Locke (Judy), Albert Locke, Kenneth Locke (Heidi), Heidi Moore (Jeff) and Walter Vanderpool (Renee); her grandchildren, Lyndsay Salantri, Stefanie Berry, Eric Locke, Jessie Tierney, Anthony Vanderpool, Sarah Stevens, Samuel Stanley, William Stanley, Andrew Vanderpool, Austin Vanderpool and Mackenzie McHatton; and her brother Walter Hensel. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
