He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Parten and Lizzie May Parten (Rogers); and his brother Jack Parten. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Parten (Newton); his children, Edward Parten, Ethan Parten and Delora Power; and his brothers, Cpt. Aaron E. Parten, William R. Parten and Mike Parten. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
