She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert W. Farrell and Mildred Farrell (Johnson); her children, Debbie, Paul, Jr. and Dale; her grandchildren, Amy Ladieu Campbell, Sarah Ladieu Ratti, Andrea Smith Gagne and Christopher Smith; her great grandchildren, Marley, Bode and Finnian Gagne; her husband Col. Paul Richard Smith; and her sister Mildred E. Farrell.
