He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Russell E. Brooks, Sr. and Florence Brooks (Andover); and his siblings, Charlie, Janis, Elaine, Joan and Linda. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
