He was predeceased by: his mother Theresa McClain (West). He is survived by: his father Elmer McClain; his wife Christine McClain; his children, Cullen McClain and Mercedes Magee; and his siblings, William, Elmer McClain and Tina Lindgrin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
