With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Berntsen (Derry, New Hampshire), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 22, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshiah Dyer and Anna Dyer (Mitchell); her husband Harold A. Berntsen; her daughters, Cathleen McElroy and Helen Marie Richards; and her siblings, Walter Dyer, Philip Dyer, Edward Dyer, Richard Dyer, Anna Wanders and Geraldine Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Harold Berntsen Jr (Gabriele) of Germany, Christopher Berntsen (Susan) of Derry, Michael Berntsen (Susan) of Manchester, Shawn Berntsen (Katie) of Raymond, NH, Frances LeLacheur (John) of Wenham, MA and Ann Marie Berntsen (Lisa Cashins) of Reading, MA; and her sister Frances Burke of Malden, MA. She is also survived by several nephews, nieces and cousins.
