With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph L. Carter of Derry, New Hampshire, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 15, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. "Nick" Carter and Ellen T. Carter (Lynch); his son William Carter; and his siblings, John "Jackie" Carter, James "Jimmy" Carter and Joan Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carter (Arnold) of Derry; his children, Ellen M. Carter of Bow, NH, David Carter of Derry, Stacy Carter-Wright of Derry and Joseph L. Carter, Jr. of Manchester, NH; and his sister Ann Murphy of Lawrence, MA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
At the family's request, all those in attendance are asked to wear masks.
