He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shell and Elsie Gordon (Morris); his brother Robert Shell; and his close friend Judith Lecaroz. He is survived by: his children, Wayne M. Shell, Scott W. Shell, Mark A. Shell, Jason A. Shell and Kelly A. Merchant; and his sister Judy Collins. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
