She was predeceased by: her parents, Rafael Huertas and Aurea Huertas (Aponte); her husband Louis Hernandez; and her brothers, Rafael Huertas, John Huertas and Carmelo Carmona.
She is survived by: her children, Robyn Chadwick (George) of Derry, NH and Steven Hernandez (Karen) of Amherst, NH; her grandchildren, Matthew Sheridan (Michelle) of Derry, NH, Kristen Vickers (Jordan) of Underhill, VT, Connor Chadwick (Amanda) of Derry, NH, Alex Hernandez of Santa Barbara, CA, Maxwell McGrath of Waltham, MA, Connor McGrath of Manhattan and Duncan McGrath of Nashua, NH; her great grandchildren, Kali, Logan Sheridan of Derry, NH, Rowen and Bode Vickers of Underhill, VT.; and her siblings, Nancy Huertas of Norfolk, VA, Rosalie Zarate of Newburgh, NY and Robert Carmona of Tarpon Springs, FL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
