He is survived by: his wife Diane Caras; his children, Alisa Tucker (Scott) of Boston, MA, Rebecca Tetler (Eric) of Boston, MA and Aaron Caras (Adria Acevedo) of Londonderry, NH; his grandchildren, Jordyn Proulx, Brandon Tetler, Cole Tetler and Jacob Caras; his sister Roberta Fishman; and his pet Teddy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
