He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Hartford Sr. and Marie A. L. Hartford (Beaudry); and his siblings, Roland, Pat, Rosanna, Sarah "Jane" and Daniel.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia McFarland; his sons, William Hartford III and Earle Hartford; his grandson William Hartford IV; and his siblings, Janice "Midge" Thibeault and Louis Hartford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
