As Elizabeth departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Elizabeth leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Bither and Betsy McAllister (Footrick). She is survived by: her husband David A. Houghton; her daughters, Meaghan E. (Jan Szymnau) and Allison L. (Kevin Gonyer); her pet Nala May; her siblings, Melissa (Gary Connor), Anne Mason of Greene, ME and Stephen; her sister-in-law Indy Bither of Concord, NC; and her stepmother Carol Bither of Scarborough, ME. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, three grand pets and many loving, supportive friends.
