With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alison Hale Smith Buckwell of Danbury, New Hampshire, born in New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on October 22, 2021 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett M. Smith and Dorothy Smith (Hale); and her brother Philip L. Smith. She is survived by: her friend James David Buckwell; her husband James; her sons, Donald Buckwell (Diana Wiediger), David (Jean Buckwell), Ray Glover (Susan Gally) and Douglas (Shelly Buckwell); her grandchildren, Lindsay Buckwell of Chicago, IL, James Buckwell of New Britain, CT, Daley Buckwell of Concord, NH and Elena Buckwell of Marietta, GA; her siblings-in-law, Janice and Harry Mazadoorian of Kensington, CT; her nieces and nephews, Beth Mazadoorian, Wilson Keithline, Lynne Mazadoorian, John Lockhart, Christopher Smith and Carrie Waskowicz; and also, Joyce Yarrow (Hatton), Judith Brewer, Susan Fischer, Barbara Shaw, Priscilla Hudson and Leighton Smith.
