She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Theron Scruton and Nellie Maud Nelson; her husband Lawrence E. LaClair; her daughter Brenda L. Champney (LaClair); and her siblings, Eleanor, Guy, Theron, Eva, Ralph and Shirley.
She is survived by: her son Gary E. LaClair; and her grandchildren, Heather Benoit (Rick), Jodie LaClair and Scott LaClair (Laura). She is also survived by her great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cornish Elementary School Library, the George H. Stowell Library or the Cornish Rescue Squad.
