Schaefer (Contoocook, New Hampshire), born in OFallon, Illinois, who passed away on January 15, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laverne Schaefer and Louise Schaefer (Peach); his brother Ralph Schaefer; his son Richard Schaefer; and his grandson Joshua Schaefer.

He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Schaefer (Sears) of Hopkinton; his daughters, Karen Gange of Concord and Diane Fabri; his significant other Daniel Cajka of Nashua; his daughter-in-law Kathy Schafer of Hopkinton; his grandchildren, Richard Schaefer, Michael Gange, Niko Fabri (Brianna Labonte) and Gwendolyn Fabri; and his great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Dreesen and Griffin Delude.
