Alice Tonkens Stout Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Tonkens Stout of Contoocook, New Hampshire, who passed away on August 5, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sybolt Tonkens and Alice Cashin of Ireland; her husband Bruce Carr Stout; her sister Mary Wilkinson; her children, Linda Saunders Paquette (Philip) of Contoocook, NH, Sandra Murray Koch (Henry) and Bruce Carr Stout, Jr. (Ann) of Easton, PA.; and her grandchildren, Martha Jacques (Jon), Sarah Murray (Signe), Arpiar Saunders (Nadine) and Alice Saunders (Greg).
In March 2020, restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic required the nursing home to terminate private, in-person family visits.
