He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Henry Lakin II and Teresa Lakin (Rahilly). He is survived by: his wife Donna Lakin (Mannone); and his children, Walter Henry Lakin IV, DeAnn Berthiaume and Tammy Chase.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home (164 Pleasant St, Laconia, NH 03246).
