He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hackney and Frances Dutton (Ball); his wife Audrey Hackney (Lake); his grandson Maurice "Moe" Gerow III; and his son-in-law William "Bill" Lane.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela J. Gerow (Maurice), Pauline F. Nanjari (Leonardo) and Theresa H. Lane; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Danny, Lauren, Emily and Rachael; his great grandchild Seth; his brother G. Kent; his sister-in-law Bonnie Hackney; and his nephew Mark Hackney (Jeannie). He is also survived by great nieces and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Bennett Funeral Home (209 N Main St, Concord, NH 03301). A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pineground Cemetery.
