We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2025, at the age of 91, Martha Downey Hamilton of Concord, New Hampshire, born in Lowell, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Martha Downey departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Martha Downey. Though Martha Downey may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hugh Downey and Marion Downey (Garvey); her children, John Hamilton (Krista Helmboldt) and Linda Hamilton; and her grandchild Tess Hamilton.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Dee Funeral Home (27 Bedford St, Concord, MA 01742). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Parish (12 Monument Square, Concord, MA 01742).
