He was predeceased by: his brother Jimmy Jurta; and his parents, Janet A. Jurta and John J. Jurta III. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Genakos and Jake Jurta; the mother of his children Tina Jurta; his daughter-in-law Amanda Wright; and his grandchildren, Lilly Wright, Vanessa Genakos, Karson Genakos, Dylan Jurta and Joey Jurta.
