As we bid Joanne farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joanne is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her son Richard Merrill; and her siblings, Ken Hickey and Sandra Sapier. She is survived by: her sons, Jonathan Poitras (Rachael) and Mike Merrill (Michelle); her grandchildren, Marissa, Mykyle, Kyra, Landon, Erin, Maitlend and Brandon; and her great grandchildren, Jayce and Aaliyah. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
