It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grant D. Avery in Concord, New Hampshire, who passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollon Avery and Alta Avery (Tholander); his stepsons, Keith Maxfield and Richard Maxfield; and his siblings, Hollon Avery, Marilyn Foster and Kenneth Avery.

He is survived by: his wife Diana Avery (Towle) of Loudon; his children, Eugene Avery (Lynne) of Bow, Donald Avery of Henniker, Alan "Rick" Avery of Laconia, Laurie Rivet (Raymond) of Concord and Dana Maxfield (Kathy) of Birmingham, AL; his siblings, Eugene Avery and Carole Milliken of Concord; his grandchildren, Kyle, Curtis, Alec, Ian, Emma, Erika, Rachel, Jack, Scott, Katie and Ellie; and his great grandchildren, Alethea, Charlotte, Kendall and Calvin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
