He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward R. McFarland Sr. and Josephine McFarland (Laing). He is survived by: his wife Brenda McFarland (Tennyson); his children, Edward R. McFarland III (Rick), Cathy DelFranco (Michael) and Barbara Paquette (Steven); his grandchildren, Jocelyn DelFranco, Michael DelFranco IV and James Paquette; and his siblings, Joan Stone and Robert McFarland (Jean). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
