West of DeLand; his grandchildren, Josh and Kelly; his son John E. West of Tilton; his grandson David A. West of Franklin; his great grandchildren, Oliver and Mordecai; and also, Stephen R. West of Ashland, Jasper, Ezra West and James A. West of Asheville.
A lifelong Catholic, Don and Kate had a deep faith and instilled principles of faith, charity, compassion, love of family and a strong work ethic in their sons.
