He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James A. McCarthy and Mary M. McCarthy (MacDougall); his grandson Shayne; his pet Daisy; his sons, Connor J. McCarthy (Shannon) of Revere, MA and Liam P. McCarthy (Alexa) of Revere, MA; and his siblings, Catherine Lawson (late William) of Dracut, MA, Ronald McCarthy (Margie), Cape Breton, Janice Jordan (late Edward), James McCarthy Jr. of Fort Myers, FL and Geraldine Wilcox of Bedford, MA.. He was also cherished by 30 loving nieces and nephews.
