He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Horace Eugene Young and Marjorie Eliza Parris; and his siblings, Fletcher, Larry, Juanita and Joanne.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Nelson Nixon; his children, Michelle Mitchell and Conrad John Young; his brother Charles Young, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Lindsay Dutton (Dean), Emily Reifsneider and John Reifsneider (Julie). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Granite State Baptist Church (236 Sheep Davis Rd, Concord, NH 03301).
