He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Broughton and Alyce Broughton; his wife Claire Broughton; his son Rick Broughton; and his siblings, Marie Wilson and John Broughton.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Johnston of Florida, Michael Broughton of Colo, Brian Broughton (Karla), Wesley Broughton, Claremont and Steven Broughton (Carole) of Windsor, Vt.; his daughter-in-law Louise Broughton; and his sister Doris Stearns (Bill). He is also survived by twelve grandkids, twenty great grandkids, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
