With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sidney G Thurber of Claremont, New Hampshire, born in Newport, New Hampshire, who passed away on January 29, 2022 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Thurber and Ina Thurber (Ring); his sons, Nathaniel and Cedric; his brother Scott Thurber; his brother-in-law Paul Greenwood; and his father-in-law Ralph Morse.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Thurber (Morse); his daughters, Roseanna Rice (Scott Hunter), Ivis Thurber (Chris Ayotte, Sr.), Sheila Brochu (Justin) and Andrea Thurber (Tim Beard); his adoptive children, Fred Elwell, Steve Deveney and Brianna Thurber; his sisters, Laura Ryan (Walter) and Carolyn Greenwood; his mother-in-law Helen Osgood (Waylon); and his aunts, Jeanette Ring and Rebecca Holden. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
