He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Rock; his stepfather Russell Rock; his father Robert Sprano; and his brother Burton Rock. He is survived by: his wife Normalee Sprano (Mongeon); and his siblings, John Sprano (Diana), Thomas Rock (Pauline) and Patricia Dexter (William). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
