He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John O'Sullivan and Rita O'Sullivan (Koen); his wife Nancy; his children, Margaret, Michael and Carolyn; his stepdaughter Angela Coster; and his brother Philip. He was also cherished by five brothers and sisters.
