He was predeceased by: his father Ellis S. McLaughlin Sr.; his wife Sharon K. McLaughlin; his mother Theresa McLaughlin; and his brothers, Thomas and Steven McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melanie Brown (Shane) and Dawn Churchill (Colin); his grandchildren, David Small Jr., Austin Morton, Nikolas Morton, Alexis Bent, Olivia Churchill and Jaxon Churchill; his great grandchild Autumn Bent; his sisters, Donna Payne and Debra Kollasch (Michael); and his sisters-in-law, Kathleen Judkins (Ronald), Suzanne Camire (Thomas), Cynthia Kafka (Gary Bellemare) and Allison Barillaro (Daniel). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stringer Funeral Home (146 Broad St, Claremont, NH 03743). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ellis's memory may be directed to Children's Hospital at Dartmouth (CHAD) Child Life Program, an organization near and dear to his heart.
