DeWit (Deborah) of Lafayette, Brenda M. Mathia (Ron) of South Bend, IN and Joyce M. Fields (Tim) of Baton Rouge, LA.; his grandchildren, Sarah Kainu and Jason Ferguson; his great grandchildren, Emma and Odin Kainu; his stepgrandchildren, Emily and Jason Newlin; and his siblings, Ray Barton, Helen Theall, Jean Dodge and Douglas Barton. He was also cherished by 26 step great-grandchildren.
