He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Simeon Fontaine and Etta Fontaine; his wife Rita A. Fontaine (Girard) of Claremont; his sons, Donald B. Jr. (Anne) of Claremont, Pete (Betty) of Claremont and Robin (Laurie) of Claremont; his grandchildren, Rita Martin, Marissa Fontaine, Donnice Fontaine, Adam Fontaine, Jessie Lommerin, Rachel Thomas, Joan Fontaine, Elise Fontaine and Dan Fontaine; and his great grandchildren, Eli Martin, Matthew Fontaine, Kyle Fontaine, Garrett Lommerin, Emily Lommerin, Lawson Fontaine and Walker Fontaine. He was also cherished by 3 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic a memorial service will be held at a later date.
