It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Amelia Blish of Claremont, New Hampshire, born in Plainfield, New Hampshire, who passed away on August 12, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lee Woodward and Katherine Woodward (Smith); her husband Elwin Blish; her children, Sandra Hawkins (Glenn) of Sunapee, Steven Blish of Newport and Scott Blish of Unity; her grandchildren, Melissa Hawkins, Seth Hawkins and Brandon Blish; and her sisters, Kay Kibbie of Cornish and Dianna Lockwood of Laconia.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the Blish family and the funeral home ask all attending the visitation and service to abide with all current regulations, including wearing a mask and social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Sullivan County Humane Society, 14 Tremont Street, Claremont, NH 03743 or the Jack Byrne Center, 154 Hitchcock Loop Road, Lebanon, NH 03756.
