He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Upton and Frances Upton (Peters); his close friend Sue Rapisura; his children, Sherrea Dow, Mike Gory-Pare, Candy Magoon and Danny Upton Jr.; his stepchildren, Toshia Hutchins, Justin Hutchins and Dan Hutchins; and his son Artie Desilet. He was also cherished by great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
