He was predeceased by: his father Maynard Dyer; and his daughter Chantel Dyer. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Evans (Serbian); his siblings, Debra Hannigan (Greg), Cheryl DeZafra (Pat), Barbara Peabody (Chuck), Rick Dyer (Pam), Joseph Dyer and Laurie Colburn; and his grandsons, Rodderick and Maverick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
